Cleo was born in Sao Paulo, grew up in Mato Grosso, a state located in the Central-Western part of the country - once known as Brazil‘s wild, wild West.

At the age of 16, she started working for a major bank where she spent almost six years. In 1994 she left that job, quit her studies and decided to study abroad and travel around the world.

While studying International Business Management and Marketing & Communications in London, she started to get to know the British art and film world.

In 97 she moved to Germany seeking to learn a new language and another culture.

While attending the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in Munich, she started working at F24 Film as a production assistant and translator. After a year she took over the entire film production department and established herself as a production manager and executive producer within many fields including commercials, corporate and documentary films.

Cleo has already produced numerous campaigns, sport films and documentaries from the snowy mountains in Alaska to remote deserts in Africa. From the glaciers in Europe to the Amazon Rainforest.

Latest she won two bids to produce the Official Presentation Film for the city of Munich and their official campaign ,Munich 2018‘ as candidate to host the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.


Between 2003 and 2007 she also worked for Infront Sports & Media. The company handled the global distribution of all broadcast rights for the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cup.
