JOURNEY TO THE CENTER Website: http://www.journey-movie.com Journey to the Center, the movie produced in cooperation with Ground Impact Production in Los Angeles, is a combination of adventure- and travel-story. It follows three BASE-Jumpers (Jeb Corliss, Chris “Douggs” and Paul Fortun) on their way to central China. The goal is to BASE-jump into the biggest natural cave in the world: the “Tian Keng”, the “Heavenly Pit”. The documentary was shot in China and edited in Munich and Malibu. The score and sound design was done at the ROOM in Venice Beach, animations by Big Machine in Los Angeles. All the technical visuals and post production by ARRI Digital in Munich.
